Surgical Tech - Certified Surg Tech

Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST)Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience required. Strong general, orthopedic, and neuro experience required. Big belly, crani, and orthopedic trauma experience highly preferred. Robotic training is highly preferred. License: A valid state license required. Certifications: BLS certification required. NBSTSA, NCCT, or military OR Tech certification accepted. Must-Have: Proficiency in general, orthopedic, and neuro areas. Ability to work weekends and holidays. Willingness to be part of the call rotation with staff.Description: The OR Tech position requires strong orthopedic, neuro, and general surgical skills. Scheduling details include 4x10 shifts from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM with random days off. On-call and weekend rotations with the staff are expected. Holiday requirements include working one holiday per 13-week contract. Patient population includes neonates, adolescents, infants, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Services provided include general surgery, orthopedics, neurosurgery, plastics, gynecology, oncology, robotic surgery, ENT, ophthalmology, pediatrics, and sports medicine. Special equipment includes ROSA, Si and Xi da Vinci robots, stealth technology, O-Arm, and HIPE. This unit is a Level I trauma operating room. Interdisciplinary support is available for complex cases.
