Warehouse Dispatcher

We are hiring an experienced Warehouse Dispatcher to support daily shipping and warehouse operations. This position is responsible for coordinating outbound shipments, preparing shipping paperwork, communicating with drivers and warehouse teams, and helping ensure customer orders are accurate and dispatched on schedule.

The ideal candidate has previous experience in warehouse dispatch, shipping and receiving, logistics, distribution, or a related warehouse environment and is comfortable working in a fast-paced operation.

Pay: $24.00 per hour

Responsibilities

Coordinate daily outbound shipments and dispatch activities.
Prepare and verify customer orders before shipment.
Communicate with drivers, carriers, warehouse employees, and operations teams regarding shipment status and priorities.
Prepare shipping labels, packing slips, dispatch records, and other shipping documentation.
Verify product quantities, order information, and shipping details for accuracy.
Track outgoing shipments and provide updates when needed.
Identify and report shortages, damages, incorrect quantities, or shipping discrepancies.
Maintain accurate shipping, dispatch, and inventory records.
Perform data entry and update information in warehouse or shipping systems.
Coordinate with warehouse employees to help ensure orders are picked, staged, and ready for scheduled shipments.
Maintain an organized dispatch and shipping area.
Follow established warehouse safety procedures and company policies.
Assist with other warehouse, shipping, or logistics duties as needed.

Qualifications

Previous experience in warehouse dispatch, shipping and receiving, logistics, distribution, or a similar position preferred.
Experience coordinating shipments, drivers, carriers, or warehouse orders preferred.
Comfortable using computers and entering information accurately.
Experience with warehouse management systems, shipping software, inventory systems, or similar programs is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple shipments and assignments in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to communicate effectively with drivers, warehouse employees, supervisors, and other departments.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to work the posted schedule, including overtime or weekends when required.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

This position is performed in a warehouse and distribution environment and may involve regular movement throughout the facility.

Essential job functions may include:

Standing, walking, bending, reaching, and handling materials as needed to perform assigned duties.
Moving or handling packages and materials associated with warehouse and shipping operations.
Working around warehouse equipment, vehicle traffic, noise, and varying temperatures.
Using computers, shipping systems, scanners, and other equipment required for dispatch operations.
