DISPATCHER

San Bernardino, CA Salary: $23-$25/hour

RESPONSIBILITIES :

Act as a liaison for the day-to-day routing between Customer Care, Inbound Logistics, Shipping and Transportation. Verify items shipped by matching bills of lading, reconciling quantities, noting discrepancies. Reviews weekly demand/volume for routes Re-routes, Plans, distributes, monitors and preforms follows-up on daily route assignments Communicates changes to shipping, transportation and customers as needed in real time. Ensures that trucks are mapped to make their deliveries. Inspects loading operations to ensure compliance with shipping specifications. Interacts with drivers regarding their routes and load quality

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Takes initiative and works well independently. Capability of prioritizing and handling multiple projects. Good attitude and able to work effectively with peers Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Minimum of one (1) year of experience of related experience. Must have strong Microsoft computer skills.
