Position Summary Reporting to the Sr. Materials Manager, the Inventory Receiving Clerk partners with the Supply Chain team and Operations staff to ensure our commitment to increasing customer shipped quality while decreasing overall test costs. This position is classified as non‑exempt under FLSA. What You’ll Be Doing The Inventory Receiving Clerk is responsible for accuracy and integrity of daily inventory activities, including receipt accuracy, proper recording of inventory locations, accurate cycle counts, replenishments, and location audits. The Clerk records counts into the ERP system, seeks recount verification, and authorizes corrections according to company guidelines. The Clerk assists in picking material for production shop orders, determines root causes of inventory discrepancies, and suggests corrective actions to eliminate future occurrences. The Clerk also acts as backup to the shipping function for fulfillment of customer orders. What You Bring to the Table Process receiving of incoming materials, check quantities against packing list and ERP system requirements for accuracy. Count material, property, equipment, merchandise, or supplies and post results to the ERP system. Audit historical transactions of material movements to identify causes for variances. Move inventories into correct locations and pick materials for production shop orders. Visually inspect items for damage and compare packing list against purchase order, alerting the assigned Buyer of any discrepancies. Perform packing, crating and shipping of product, which may include shipping to both domestic and international locations. Education and Experience High School Diploma or GED with at least 6 months of related experience with the use of ERP systems and within an ISO 9001 environment. What to Expect at Work Ability to maintain a full‑time schedule. Majority of time spent in traditional office working conditions. Ability to sit for extended periods; bend, reach, stoop, and twist while lifting as required. Heavy use of an office computer for completing work. Limited exposure to a manufacturing area, which may entail exposure to dirt, dust, noise, machine chemicals, fumes, and other attributes common to this environment. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. The hiring manager will determine the final starting salary based on the successful applicant’s qualifications.
