About the Position

Job Title: CVOR Technician Profession: Technician Specialty: Cardiac Vascular Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: AM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum years of experience required. License: Education verification or national certification required. Certifications: Preferred experience in neurosurgery, surgical oncology, and robotics. Must-Have: Availability for call and weekend shifts. Description: Virtual interviews will be conducted for all candidates. Candidates are expected to float to the General Operating Room if needed. Call is required for 48-60 hours over a 4-week period, with weekend call also required. Candidates may sign up for calls on their day off or during their scheduled workdays. Generally, staff are not kept on call for the entire 12-hour shift. If a staff member calls out, there will be a discussion regarding keeping someone on call. An opportunity will be offered for staff to leave early to rest, if necessary. Two on-call rooms are available for staff when they are on call.
