What You'll Do As an Automotive Sales Manager, you'll be responsible for helping lead the day-to-day performance of our new and pre-owned sales operation. You'll be expected to:

• Lead, motivate, coach, and develop our Sales Consultants
• Set clear expectations and hold the sales team accountable
• Desk deals and maximize sales opportunities and profitability
• Drive new and pre-owned vehicle sales
• Conduct daily sales meetings and individual coaching
• Monitor showroom traffic, internet leads, phone opportunities, and appointments
• Improve lead response, appointment, show, and closing percentages
• Ensure consistent CRM usage and customer follow-up
• Assist with trade appraisals and pre-owned vehicle acquisition
• Monitor inventory aging, pricing, merchandising, and turn
• Recruit, train, and retain quality Sales Consultants
• Work closely with Finance to ensure smooth and efficient deal flow
• Maintain a strong customer experience from initial contact through delivery
• Review sales KPIs and develop action plans when performance falls below expectations
• Work directly with the General Manager to achieve dealership sales and profitability objectives

What We're Looking For Our ideal candidate is competitive, accountable, organized, and comfortable leading from the front. Automotive sales management experience is strongly preferred. Candidates should also possess:

• Proven automotive retail sales experience
• Strong leadership and coaching ability
• Experience desking and structuring automotive transactions
• Understanding of new and pre-owned inventory management
• Strong CRM and lead-management discipline
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to motivate a team while maintaining accountability
• Strong understanding of dealership profitability and sales KPIs
• Ford dealership experience is a plus
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
