By hiring the best people and helping them grow both professionally and personally, we ensure a bright future for NTT DATA Services and for the people who work here.NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Sr. .NET Custom Application Developer to join our team in Dallas, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).Day to Day job Duties: (what this person will do on a daily/weekly basis) JOB SUMMARY:PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Validate, Analyze and Finalize the Requirements.Work with offshore team members to develop quality applications and components meeting deadlines as required.Collaborate with customer, Client SME’s and engineering teams, in an Agile/SCRUM environment to develop and maintain.Analyze, design, develop, and test software components.Analyze and identify under-performing components to determine if optimizations are required taking into consideration change risk, solution clarity, and scope of work.Must be able to analyze, identify, and debug software defects.Application Go-Live support.Basic Qualifications: (what are the skills required to this job with minimum years of experience on each)MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:A minimum of 8+ years software development experience with .NET Framework, C#, ASP.Net, MVC, Entity Framework, Oracle.A minimum of 8+ years’ experience with ASP.Net or 5+ years of software development experience using front-end technologies such as HTML 4/5, JavaScript, CSS 3, and jQuery.Prior experience in healthcare IT.Knowledge of Oracle DBA skills.Knowledge of cloud computing (Windows Azure, Amazon Web Services, etc.) (preferred)Knowledge of server-side technologies such as Windows Communication Foundation and ASP.NET Web API (preferred)4-year degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.Job Level Specific DutiesWorks on a large portfolio of applications.Provides application design and documentation that spans multiple applications and/or functions.Participates, and may lead, on complex projects with significant impact on IT and / or business.Prioritizes own work regarding the development, coding, testing, and debugging of new software or enhancements to existing software.Works with technical staff and business to understand problems with software and assist to resolve them.Project lead experienceTypical Years of ExperienceTypically requires 6-8 years relevant experience.SkillsConsistently applies fundamental knowledge of programming languages for design specifications.Applied in-depth knowledge of one or more programming languages.Substantive knowledge of coding, testing and debugging.Proven ability to apply programming languages to develop solutions to business needs.
