Senior AP Specialist Location: Cockeysville, MD Job Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday to Friday Pay: $65,000 - $85,000 Company Overview: Solar Gaines is a leading commercial solar installer serving Maryland, Washington, D.C., Delaware, and Virginia. Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior AP Specialist to join our team. An associate degree in accounting, bookkeeping, or related fields is preferred. This role will be responsible for assisting the accounting department. Duties and Responsibilities: Full-Cycle AP: Process high-volume invoices and material supplier bills PO & Subcontract Matching: Verify 2-way matching between invoices and purchase orders Lien Waivers: Assist AR Specialist with collecting and tracking conditional and unconditional lien waivers from vendors and subs before releasing payments. Compliance: Manage W-9 updates and new customers, and certificate of insurance (COI) tracking. Project Allocation: Code expenses accurately to specific job numbers and cost codes Understanding Cost classes and G/L accounts for Overhead invoices Biweekly check runs and assist with ACH/EFT Manage the AP Accounting email account Work with Purchasing Manager, Project Managers, and Assistant Project Managers to get invoices approved in a timely manner. Understanding of deadlines for Monthly Closing for updated Job Cost Reports Education and Experience: 5 years of Construction experience required Associate degree in accounting or related field High Volume Analytical skills and attention to detail are a "MUST" #J-18808-Ljbffr
