Plant Controller

We are looking for an experienced Plant Controller to oversee financial performance and provide strategic support for a manufacturing operation in Allentown, Pennsylvania. This role partners closely with plant leadership and cross-functional teams to strengthen reporting accuracy, improve cost visibility, and guide informed business decisions. If not, for immediate consideration, please apply or call Warren Knight at 484-214-2624Responsibilities:• Direct the plant’s budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities to support short- and long-term business objectives.• Oversee monthly and annual closing processes while ensuring financial reports are complete, accurate, and compliant with accounting standards.• Partner with operations, supply chain, and other departments to evaluate plant performance, explain variances, and highlight opportunities for improvement.• Establish and maintain effective internal controls that reduce financial risk and promote efficient accounting processes.• Deliver meaningful financial analysis and recommendations to plant leadership and senior management to support strategic and operational decisions.• Coordinate with corporate finance partners to align site-level reporting, planning, and performance goals with broader organizational priorities.• Advance reporting and analysis practices through continuous process improvement initiatives that enhance visibility and decision-making.• Monitor manufacturing costs, standard costing, and cost accounting activities to improve cost control and profitability at the plant level.
