Work Environment

The Physical Therapist role is an onsite position situated within our outpatient office in North Fort Myers, Florida. You will be working closely with an interdisciplinary team that includes physical therapy assistants, aides, and support staff. Our work environment fosters collaboration and teamwork, allowing you to engage in community outreach, program development, and leadership functions that enhance patient care and clinic operations. The standard work week consists of 40 hours with variable weekends, ensuring flexible scheduling.

Key Responsibilities

As a Full-Time Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations and assessments of patients to identify functional limitations and disabilities.
• Developing, implementing, and modifying individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and ongoing assessments.
• Providing consultation services to healthcare providers to ensure a cohesive continuum of care for patients.
• Maintaining thorough documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and billing charges in compliance with applicable laws and professional standards.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians and other healthcare providers, to optimize patient outcomes.
• Supervising and mentoring support staff, including physical therapy assistants and aides, to enhance their skills and knowledge in patient care.
• Participating in leadership functions, community outreach activities, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Staying informed of the latest advancements in physical therapy through self-study, continuing education, and participation in training programs.

Qualifications
