Key Responsibilities

• Direct physical therapy treatment aimed at preventing disability, alleviating pain, and restoring muscle function, as detailed in the patient's individualized plan of care.
• Supervise and mentor physical therapy assistants to ensure adherence to the therapeutic plan and the delivery of quality care.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations, employing diagnostic and prognostic tests to assess the clients' functional abilities.
• Evaluate clients' home environments to provide tailored recommendations that enhance mobility and independence.
• Administer prescribed physical therapy services, including manual therapeutic exercises, traction, and other modalities as indicated by physicians.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team during case conferences to continuously review and update each client's care plan.
• Document and track clients' progress through detailed clinical records, including initial evaluations, care plans, and discharge summaries.
• Facilitate communication and education for clients and families, ensuring they understand the treatment process and the utilization of therapeutic devices.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and stay current with rehabilitation practices, techniques, and standards.
• Engage positively with both patients and team members to foster a supportive and motivating atmosphere.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.

• Valid driver's license and automobile insurance if travel is necessary.

Compensation and Benefits
