Key Responsibilities

• Direct and implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans aimed at preventing disabilities, alleviating pain, and improving functional abilities in accordance with specific patient care protocols.
• Lead and supervise Physical Therapy Assistants, ensuring appropriate execution of treatment plans and maintaining the highest standards of care.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical capabilities using diagnostic assessments tailored to each client's needs, including muscle, nerve, and joint evaluations.
• Review and assess patient home environments, providing therapeutic recommendations to enhance independence and optimize rehabilitation outcomes.
• Administer a variety of physical therapy interventions, such as manual therapeutic exercises and application of physical agents like traction and massage, to support patient recovery.
• Evaluate, fit, and adjust the usage of prosthetic and orthotic devices, consulting with physicians on necessary modifications for improved patient mobility.
• Engage actively in the development, review, and frequent updates of the patient care plan, ensuring it remains aligned with patient progress and needs.
• Document and communicate patient progress, changes in condition, and therapeutic responses to referring physicians and case managers.
• Contribute to interdisciplinary team efforts in case conferences, collaborating to refine and enhance comprehensive treatment strategies for all patients.
• Instruct patients and their families about physical therapy programs, guiding them through device usage, care protocols, and home exercises to facilitate ongoing recovery.
• Complete and submit accurate clinical documentation, including evaluations and progress notes, in accordance with organizational policies and state regulations.
• Maintain clinical accuracy and response to patient needs by being accessible to Physical Therapy Assistants during client treatments.
• Uphold organizational quality standards by participating in additional duties as assigned, aimed at achieving the company's healthcare objectives.

You will primarily serve a diverse outpatient population, focusing on individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and chronic conditions. Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Licensure as a Physical Therapist in good standing in Florida.
• Current CPR certification.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
