Work Environment

The physical therapist will work onsite in our outpatient office, offering a dynamic and collaborative atmosphere. Typical work hours from Monday to Friday can be structured as either 8 AM to 4 PM or 9 AM to 5 PM, with an alternative option of four 10-hour shifts for those seeking flexibility. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical conditions to identify rehabilitation needs and establish treatment goals.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans, employing a range of therapeutic modalities and exercises tailored to each patient's condition.
• Utilize advanced techniques in physical therapy, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation.
• Monitor patient progress closely and adjust treatment strategies as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about self-management, injury prevention, and overall wellness.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure cohesive care continuity.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily involves working with diverse patient demographics, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, and neurological conditions, among others. You will have the opportunity to engage with patients of all ages, ensuring you adapt your approach to suit various rehabilitation needs and conditions, thus fostering an environment of healing and support.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a related field recognized by the appropriate accrediting body.
• A valid Florida State Physical Therapist license, or eligibility to obtain one.
• Strong clinical decision-making skills and excellent verbal communication abilities are essential for effective patient interaction and collaboration with team members.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an outpatient setting is required. Preference will be given to candidates with a history of working with a diverse patient population.
• Experience in developing customized rehabilitation programs and familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits
