Work Environment

Our outpatient office is designed to provide a welcoming and therapeutic environment, equipped with the latest tools and technologies to support effective rehabilitation. You will work in a collaborative setting alongside a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers, including occupational therapists, wellness coaches, and administrative staff. The typical work schedule consists of Monday through Friday, with hours from either 8 AM to 4 PM or 9 AM to 5 PM, as well as the option of four 10-hour shifts, offering flexibility in your work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patient mobility and functional needs, utilizing our advanced assessment tools.
• Develop and implement tailored rehabilitation plans based on evidenced-based practices, ensuring each patient has a clear roadmap for recovery.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care, participating in team meetings to discuss patient progress and adjustments to treatment plans.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding at-home exercises, boosting compliance and facilitating optimal recovery.
• Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with our electronic health record system, ensuring all documentation accurately reflects treatment provided and progress made.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, post-stroke rehabilitation, and chronic pain conditions. Our focus is to empower patients to regain their independence and improve their quality of life through effective rehabilitation techniques and ongoing support.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; however, candidates with a Master's Degree in Physical Therapy will be strongly preferred.
• An active Florida Physical Therapy License or eligibility to obtain one is essential.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are critical for effective collaboration and patient education.
• Excellent clinical decision-making skills to assess patient needs and adjust treatment plans accordingly.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience in a clinical physical therapy setting is required, candidates with experience in outpatient care, particularly those familiar with sports injuries and orthopedic rehabilitation, will be favored. Proficiency in specialized modalities, such as dry needling or manual therapy techniques, will enhance your candidacy.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 85,000 to 100,000, based on experience and qualifications. In addition to a comprehensive compensation package, our benefits include:
