Work Environment

The role is based on-site at our rehabilitation facility. You will be part of a team of three skilled physical therapists, all committed to providing high-quality care in a collaborative and dynamic setting. Our clinic is well-equipped with advanced therapeutic tools, including specialized rehabilitation equipment, to facilitate patient progress. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, with flexibility to accommodate your professional needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to identify the individual goals and needs of each patient.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans using a variety of techniques aimed at improving motion and mobility.
• Evaluate patients' progress regularly, making necessary adjustments to treatment approaches to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Dedicating quality time with each patient, typically seeing one patient every 40 minutes to provide focused, one-on-one care.
• Provide cost-effective treatments and alternatives to medication and surgery, empowering patients through education and self-management strategies.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care and ensure the best patient outcomes.
• Document all patient interactions, evaluations, and treatments in our EMR system, Athena Health, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Engage patients during treatment sessions, motivating them and promoting a positive mindset toward recovery and healthy lifestyle choices.
• Design and implement fitness and wellness programs that enhance strength, balance, and coordination.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population primarily consists of individuals seeking rehabilitation from orthopedic conditions and injuries. You will have the opportunity to work closely with both athletes looking to regain peak performance and non-athletic patients seeking to improve their daily mobility and function. As such, your ability to connect with a diverse range of personalities and clinical presentations will be crucial in fostering a supportive therapeutic environment.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree or higher (Master's or Doctorate) in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A valid Florida State license to practice Physical Therapy.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience working in an outpatient physical therapy setting, particularly focusing on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Demonstrated ability to establish rapport and effectively communicate with patients from various backgrounds.
• Strong analytical skills to assess and develop effective treatment regimens.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated with the latest treatment practices.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with both commercial insurance patients and private pay clients.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly Athena Health, is preferred, though training will be provided.
• Advanced knowledge of rehabilitative techniques with focuses on sports medicine would be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to USD 95,000, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
