Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on preventing disability, relieving pain, and restoring muscle function.
• Oversee the work of physical therapy assistants to ensure the correct execution of treatment plans.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients' functional levels, utilizing diagnostic tests to assess muscle, nerve, joint, and functional capabilities.
• Assess and adapt the home environment to facilitate rehabilitation, providing recommendations to enhance client independence and safety.
• Deliver physical therapy services directly to clients, in line with physician prescriptions.
• Employ hands-on techniques such as manual therapeutic exercises, traction, and massage to achieve desired therapeutic outcomes.
• Evaluate, fit, and provide recommendations on prosthetic and orthotic devices, collaborating with medical professionals for modifications.
• Document clients' progress meticulously through clinical records, ensuring accurate reporting and adherence to compliance standards.
• Participate actively in interdisciplinary team meetings to evaluate treatment plans and make necessary adjustments for continued progress.
• Engage with clients and their families, instructing them on the effective use of therapeutic devices and overall rehabilitation strategies.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation for clinical and payroll purposes, adhering to all organizational policies and procedures.
• Assist in supervising junior staff and physical therapy assistants, ensuring high-quality delivery of services.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.

• Current CPR certification and valid driver's license along with automobile insurance.

Compensation and Benefits

Healthy Motion Physical Therapy offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
