Work Environment

As a member of our team, you will work in a collaborative and dynamic environment. The center operates Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing a consistent schedule that promotes work-life balance. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, gathering pertinent medical histories and performing assessments that inform individualized treatment plans.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment protocols tailored to patients' specific needs, utilizing therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities as indicated.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient progress, including initial evaluations, ongoing treatment notes, and discharge summaries, to ensure clarity and continuity of care.
• Consult with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate care and recognize when referrals to other specialists are necessary for optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate actively in case conferences and facility meetings, contributing insights on patient management and aligning with organizational initiatives for quality improvement.
• Stay updated on state practice acts and compliance regulations relevant to physical therapy, ensuring adherence in all patient interactions and documentation.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses on a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic procedures, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. The therapist will work with both acute and chronic cases, providing an opportunity to apply a range of therapeutic techniques to meet varied patient needs. We emphasize a patient-first approach, fostering strong therapeutic relationships to enhance motivation and engagement in the rehabilitation process.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist, in good standing with the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• A minimum of two years of outpatient orthopedic experience, demonstrating a solid foundation in current physical therapy practices.
• Certification in CPR/First Aid, ensuring readiness for emergencies.

Preferred Experience

While two years of outpatient orthopedic experience is required, candidates with additional certifications or specialties in manual therapy, sports rehabilitation, or geriatric care will be viewed favorably. Familiarity with electronic health record systems and previous involvement in health improvement initiatives is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
