Key Responsibilities

Your role will involve a variety of critical responsibilities aimed at delivering top-tier patient care:

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, identifying individual therapeutic needs based on medical history and physical examination results.
• Develop and implement personalized care plans in collaboration with physicians and the patient care team, emphasizing goal achievement and patient engagement.
• Deliver effective therapeutic interventions using advanced manual therapy techniques and rehabilitation modalities, ensuring compliance with treatment plans.
• Maintain a complete and accurate record of patient progress using EMR systems, such as WebPT, to track outcomes and enhance therapy effectiveness.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about therapeutic exercises, rehabilitation techniques, and the use of adaptive equipment to promote ongoing recovery efforts outside of therapy sessions.
• Manage your caseload efficiently while prioritizing patient needs and coordinating care with other healthcare providers.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with adult and pediatric patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and various musculoskeletal conditions. Your expertise will be pivotal in guiding patients through their rehabilitation journeys, supporting them to achieve optimal recovery through tailored intervention strategies.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; however, candidates with a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree are preferred.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
• A clean disciplinary record demonstrating a commitment to ethical conduct within the profession.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques, critical for the effective treatment of orthopedic conditions.
• Experience in developing individualized exercise programs that address unique patient needs and goals.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, is advantageous for efficient documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

Candidates are preferred to have a minimum of 2 years of professional experience in physical therapy, particularly in an orthopedic setting. Proven expertise in handling complex cases and a track record of successful patient outcomes will set candidates apart.

Compensation and Benefits
