Work Environment

Our clinic provides an onsite work setting that fosters collaboration and communication among staff. You will be working alongside a team of skilled healthcare professionals who are equally dedicated to patient success. Our hours of operations are Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a structured work schedule that promotes work-life balance. You will have the opportunity to work in a facility equipped with the latest technologies in sports medicine and rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and identify the individual goals and needs of patients, developing personalized treatment plans.
• Engage with 2-3 patients per hour to provide effective and hands-on therapy during treatment sessions.
• Utilize and implement a variety of evidence-based treatment techniques to maximize patient outcomes.
• Design fitness and wellness programs tailored to patient-specific requirements, promoting overall health and well-being.
• Educate and motivate patients to adopt healthier lifestyles, improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Document all patient care activities, ensuring accurate records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to cultivate a multidisciplinary approach for complex cases.
• Monitor and evaluate treatment efficacy, adjusting therapy plans as necessary to drive continued improvement.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic predominantly caters to orthopedic patients seeking outpatient physical therapy. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse clientele, including athletes recovering from sports injuries, individuals with post-surgical rehabilitation needs, and those experiencing chronic pain conditions. Your role will be crucial in helping these individuals regain their desired level of activity and quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• A valid Florida Physical Therapist License with no disciplinary actions.
• Possession of a National Provider Identifier (NPI) number, or the ability to obtain one before employment.

Preferred Experience

• Previous orthopedic outpatient experience, emphasizing hands-on therapy modalities.
• Strong manual therapy skills and proficiency in exercise prescription.
• Ability to use electronic medical record (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT, to document patient interactions and care plans.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
