Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Physical Therapist, you will:

• Evaluate patients referred by physicians, develop, and implement tailored treatment programs based on their individual needs.
• Provide specialized care for a range of clinical populations, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine patients.
• Utilize evidence-based practices and techniques to achieve optimal patient outcomes, ensuring adherence to the physician's plan of care.
• Conduct regular assessments to gauge patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
• Deliver compassionate and skilled in-home therapeutic care, if applicable, aiming to enhance functionality and promote recovery.
• Consult, educate, and train patients and their families on exercises and techniques to aid recovery and enhance quality of life.
• Maintain accurate documentation and meet minimum utilization goals in alignment with organizational objectives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work closely with a varied patient population, focusing on individuals recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions. Our clients range from athletes seeking to return to peak performance, to children needing rehabilitative care, and adults managing long-term health challenges. Your expertise will play a crucial role in fostering their trust and cooperation throughout the treatment process.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid physical therapy license in the state of Florida.
• Certification in Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interactions with patients, caregivers, and team members.
• Proficiency in documentation and data entry systems relevant to patient care and management.

Preferred Experience

A minimum of two years of clinical experience as a licensed Physical Therapist is required, with a demonstrated track record of successful patient outcomes. Experience in a rehabilitation center or similar setting is highly desirable, particularly with diverse patient populations managing various therapeutic needs.

Compensation and Benefits
