Position Overview

Movement System Physical Therapy & Wellness is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our rehabilitation center located in beautiful Fort Myers, Florida. This full-time position will allow you to deliver exceptional patient care while working in a supportive, well-equipped environment designed for optimal rehabilitation outcomes. The therapist will assess patient needs, develop tailored therapy plans, and support patients throughout their recovery journey.

Work Environment

Located in Fort Myers, a sunny oasis in southwest Florida, our rehabilitation center provides a collaborative environment where healthcare professionals work together to create customized treatment plans. You will have the opportunity to engage in daily collaboration with other healthcare providers, ensuring a holistic approach to patient care. The service hours are designed to prioritize a work-life balance, and you can choose between a Monday to Friday schedule from 8 AM to 4 PM, 9 AM to 5 PM, or four 10-hour shifts, accommodating various lifestyle preferences.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate mobility, functional capacity, and rehabilitation needs.
• Design and implement evidence-based and personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific challenges and goals.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and modalities, to optimize recovery.
• Educate patients and their families regarding treatment options, at-home exercise programs, and progress tracking to foster independence and support long-term health.
• Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to enhance the rehabilitation process and patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
• Stay current on advancements in physical therapy practices, equipment, and technologies to continuously improve the quality of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Physical Therapist will primarily work with diverse patient populations, including individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, chronic pain management, and neurological conditions. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
• Active Florida Physical Therapist License or eligibility to obtain one.
• Strong clinical decision-making capabilities and effective communication skills.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a clinical setting is strongly preferred.
• Experience working in outpatient rehabilitation and familiarity with orthopedic and neuromuscular conditions are advantageous.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems for documentation and patient management.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 85,000 to 100,000 annually , dependent on experience. In addition to competitive pay, our benefits package includes:
