This full-time position is based in our well-established outpatient clinic located in sunny Fort Myers, Florida. Work Environment

The outpatient office is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities designed to create an optimal environment for rehabilitation. You will be surrounded by a collaborative team of healthcare professionals who share a passion for helping patients overcome physical challenges. Work hours are flexible, with scheduled shifts over Monday to Friday, including options for 8 AM to 4 PM, 9 AM to 5 PM, or four 10-hour shifts, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations to assess patient mobility and identify impairments affecting their daily functions.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs, using a variety of therapeutic modalities.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust therapy plans as needed to ensure optimal recovery.
• Provide guidance and education to patients and their caregivers, emphasizing the importance of adherence to therapy regimens and home exercise programs.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and speech therapists, to facilitate comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in adherence to HIPAA regulations and practice standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a diverse patient demographic, including individuals recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. The ideal candidate will be well-equipped to address a variety of mobility limitations and will have a profound understanding of how to empathy-driven interventions can greatly assist in patient rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required, with a valid Florida Physical Therapy License strongly preferred or eligibility to obtain one.
• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in an outpatient setting, showcasing capability in delivering high-quality care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong fundamental understanding of patient-centric therapy models.
• Proficient in physical assessment techniques and rehabilitation methodologies.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with a diverse array of conditions and patient demographics.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to manage patient data efficiently.
• Experience in patient education and group therapy facilitation.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 85,000 to 100,000 per year , commensurate with experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
