Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Baylor Physical Therapy, you will be responsible for:

• Creating tailored physical therapy treatment plans focused on alleviating pain, preventing disability, and restoring function.
• Conducting thorough evaluations of patients' physical capabilities using various diagnostic tests to develop effective care strategies.
• Overseeing the work of Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure proper implementation of treatment plans and adherence to best practices.
• Administering therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and other treatments as prescribed, to promote recovery and enhance mobility.
• Assisting in evaluating home environments to identify potential safety concerns and recommending modifications to facilitate patient independence.
• Documenting patient progress and modifying treatment plans based on evaluations and patient feedback.
• Engaging in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and collaborate on treatment strategies.
• Providing education and support to patients and their families regarding effective use of therapeutic devices and participation in their recovery journey.
• Staying current with industry best practices and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and uphold high standards of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be primarily providing care to a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgery, injury, or chronic conditions that affect mobility and functional independence. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) with full licensure in the state of Florida.
