Position Overview

Live To Move Rehab Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility located in the vibrant community of Fort Myers, Florida. This full-time, onsite position offers a competitive salary range of USD 85,000 to 110,000 annually, dependent on experience. As a licensed Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing individualized treatment plans designed to help our patients regain mobility, independence, and overall wellness in a supportive outpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions and functional capabilities, assessing range of motion, strength, and mobility.
• Create and implement tailored therapy programs that address the unique needs and goals of each patient.
• Utilize evidence-based approaches to track patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about their diagnoses, treatment techniques, and exercises to foster independence and encourage adherence to therapeutic protocols.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including occupational therapists, physicians, and nurses, to provide comprehensive patient care and improve overall treatment effectiveness.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes in adherence to regulatory standards and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Live To Move Rehab Center, you will work closely with a diverse patient population, including those recovering from orthopedic injuries, neurological conditions, post-operative rehabilitation, and chronic pain management. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required; a Master's level degree is strongly preferred.
• Active license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida or in the process of obtaining licensure.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills, ensuring all patient interactions and treatment plans are thoroughly recorded and communicated effectively.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a rehabilitation setting, demonstrating a solid foundation in patient assessment and treatment methodologies.
• Experience using electronic health record (EHR) systems for efficient documentation and patient tracking.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and exercise programs specific to different patient needs, enhancing the quality of care delivered.
