Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans aimed at maximizing patient recovery and independence.
• Evaluate clients' physical abilities through comprehensive diagnostic assessments, including manual muscle testing and joint mobility evaluations.
• Direct and supervise the activities of Physical Therapy Assistants in accordance with state regulations, ensuring effective delivery of care.
• Administer therapeutic exercises and treatments to relieve pain and promote functional mobility, utilizing a variety of modalities including massage, traction, and physical agents.
• Provide education and training to clients and their families on rehabilitation exercises and the proper use of mobility devices, ensuring they feel empowered in their recovery.
• Monitor patient progress, document evaluations and care plans meticulously, and communicate updates to the interdisciplinary team and case managers.
• Participate in case conferences to contribute insights regarding treatment plans and collaborate on optimal care approaches for clients.
• Evaluate home environments and provide recommendations that support functional independence for clients receiving therapy in their residences.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in physical therapy practices and integrate relevant findings into patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions, focusing on enhancing their functional abilities and overall health. The patient demographic may include adults and the elderly, requiring a compassionate approach that respects their unique challenges and aspirations. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of one year of experience working as a Physical Therapist, preferably in an outpatient or rehabilitative environment.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in good standing in the state of Florida.
• Certification in CPR and a commitment to adhering to safety protocols and best practice guidelines.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
