Work Environment

This role is based onsite at our well-equipped rehabilitation facility in North Fort Myers. Our outpatient clinics are designed to maximize patient comfort and support optimal recovery. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations that include detailed history reviews and assessments to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Communicate evaluation findings and treatment strategies to patients and their families, ensuring active participation in goal setting.
• Implement evidence-based treatment protocols tailored to each patient's unique needs and adapt them as necessary based on ongoing evaluations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare providers to optimize patient care and intervene swiftly with necessary modifications to care plans.
• Document patient progress meticulously, including clear initial evaluations, daily notes, interim assessments, and discharge summaries that highlight the patient's treatment journey.
• Exemplify effective time management by maintaining a productive schedule and contributing to departmental goals and objectives.
• Engage in community outreach and marketing initiatives to raise awareness and access to our services, understanding metrics like CSI to improve patient engagement.
• Commit to continuous professional development by pursuing ongoing education and serving as a mentor for upcoming professionals in the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Palm Physical Therapy, you will work with a varied patient demographic, addressing rehabilitation needs across a spectrum of conditions—from post-surgical recovery to chronic pain management. Qualifications

• Required: Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy.
• Valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the State of Florida.
• Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers CPR certification.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
