Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our outpatient office in North Fort Myers, a vibrant community known for its extensive healthcare resources and beautiful setting. You will be working within a modern clinic equipped with the latest technology and rehabilitation tools, allowing you to implement effective treatment plans. The workweek is from Monday to Friday, with a schedule of 9 am to 5 pm.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to create individualized treatment plans tailored to meet each patient's unique needs and goals.
• Manage a reasonable caseload to ensure each patient receives the attentiveness and time necessary for optimal recovery.
• Apply expert knowledge in orthopedic outpatient care to deliver non-invasive treatments that enhance motion, mobility, and overall client health.
• Design and implement comprehensive care plans that utilize a variety of effective therapeutic techniques, ensuring the best possible outcomes.
• Encourage patient adherence to treatment plans by motivating and fostering a supportive environment throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to facilitate interdisciplinary care, ensuring a holistic approach to treatment.
• Monitor and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary based on ongoing assessments.
• Engage in community outreach initiatives to promote the benefits of physical therapy, preventive care, and healthy lifestyle choices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population, primarily focusing on individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and conditions that affect their mobility. You will cater to both active athletes and individuals seeking to regain functional independence after injuries or chronic conditions. Your expertise in personalized therapy will make a significant difference in their rehabilitation outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Must possess an active Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida with no history of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Proven proficiency in various manual therapy techniques and a strong background in developing and implementing comprehensive exercise programs.
• Experience using electronic medical records (EMR) tools, particularly WebPT, for accurate documentation and patient management.
• Must maintain current knowledge of physical therapy trends and best practices drawn from leading research.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in outpatient orthopedic settings is highly preferred.
• Previous involvement in community health initiatives or educational programs would be beneficial.
• Ability to utilize advanced therapeutic modalities and technologies to enhance patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this full-time position is competitive, ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, based on experience.
