Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with orthopedic conditions to identify functional limitations and treatment needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on the evaluation outcomes, ensuring alignment with medical guidelines and best practices.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to discuss patient progress and coordinate care management effectively.
• Deliver therapeutic interventions in line with the treatment program, using modalities such as exercise therapy, manual therapy, and patient education.
• Regularly evaluate patient progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary based on evidence and outcomes.
• Document all patient interactions accurately in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.
• Engage with patients and their families in a supportive manner, providing education and motivational guidance throughout the rehabilitation process.
• Adhere to productivity expectations while maintaining the highest standards of care and customer service.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will primarily focus on patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will serve a diverse demographic, including individuals across various ages and backgrounds, which allows you to employ a wide range of therapeutic approaches tailored to unique patient needs. Qualifications

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) issued by the state of Florida.
• A minimum of two years' relevant clinical experience in orthopedic physical therapy.
• Valid CPR Certification.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with specialized rehabilitation programs for post-operative orthopedic patients.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems for effective documentation and communication.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills to enhance interactions with patients and multidisciplinary team members.

Compensation and Benefits

Good Movement Physical Therapy offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
