Work Environment

This position will be conducted entirely onsite through our home care facility, which allows you to work directly with patients in their own environments. The flexibility of this role enables you to create your own work schedule from Monday to Friday, enhancing your work-life balance while meeting the needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients in home care settings to determine their specific rehabilitation needs.
• Establish and implement personalized treatment plans utilizing a variety of methods, including therapeutic exercises, stretching techniques, and hands-on interventions aimed at reducing pain and improving mobility.
• Regularly assess patient progress, documenting treatments and outcomes in a clear and timely manner to ensure continuity of care.
• Reassess therapeutic goals periodically, modifying treatment plans as necessary to maximize patient functionality and independence.
• Provide education and training for patients and their families on self-care techniques and the proper use of assistive devices.
• Stay current with best practices in physical therapy by attending workshops, reviewing relevant publications, and participating in professional discussions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve working with a diverse patient population, including children, adults, and seniors, all presenting a wide range of orthopedic conditions. You will leverage your skills to restore not only their physical abilities but also their confidence and independence, making a significant impact in their rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current state license to practice Physical Therapy in Florida.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for interacting with patients, their families, and healthcare teams.
• Strong proficiency in using computer systems for documentation and treatment planning.
• A flexible approach to treatment, capable of adapting methods to fit individual patient needs.

Preferred Experience

• While prior practical experience is not mandatory, familiarity with home care settings or orthopedic rehabilitation is a plus.
• Participation in continuing education and professional development activities.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
