Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive evaluations of patients, including a thorough review of their medical history and the implementation of specific assessments to inform treatment plans.
• Effectively communicate evaluation findings and treatment strategies to patients and their families, ensuring involvement in goal-setting practices.
• Deliver personalized treatment services, adhering to established protocols while adapting to evolving patient needs and healthcare dynamics.
• Consult with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to create a cohesive treatment approach, documenting any significant changes in patient conditions.
• Manage discharge planning and follow-up care, ensuring accuracy in documentation, including initial evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Exhibit exceptional time management skills and meet productivity expectations while maintaining an organized and timely schedule.
• Engage in hospital and community-based marketing initiatives to raise awareness about our services and enhance community health.
• Actively contribute to departmental goals and compliance with all relevant regulations governing healthcare performance.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our rehabilitation center serves a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. As a Physical Therapist, you will be at the forefront of restoring mobility and function to patients of all ages, spanning from adolescents to the elderly. You will also encounter various diagnoses, ensuring a varied and enriching case load that promotes continual learning and application of advanced therapeutic techniques.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Florida is mandatory.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by the American Heart Association is required.

Preferred Experience
