Work Environment

The work environment at Swift Therapy Center is collaborative and energetic, located in a modern outpatient facility designed with patient comfort in mind. Our operating hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will engage in the following key responsibilities:

• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of state practice acts and local regulations governing physical therapy, ensuring compliance in all areas of practice.
• Perform detailed patient examinations, evaluations, and assessments to inform the development of effective treatment plans tailored to individuals with orthopedic conditions.
• Implement evidence-based treatment protocols and adjust them based on continuous evaluation and patient response.
• Consult with other healthcare professionals as necessary, ensuring a coordinated approach to patient care that fosters optimal recovery outcomes.
• Document all patient interactions, crafting clear, concise, and comprehensive records that reflect the patient's journey, treatment milestones, and progress.
• Participate in internal meetings and contribute to clinical discussions directed at improving efficiency and patient access.
• Engage with fellow team members to eliminate barriers to patient access and promote initiatives that enhance the therapeutic experience.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Swift Therapy Center, you will work primarily with a diverse patient population experiencing orthopedic impairments, functional limitations, and chronic pain. Your expertise will empower individuals to regain mobility, enhance function, and improve their overall quality of life. You will be instrumental in teaching patients about their conditions and the strategies to manage them effectively.

Qualifications

The position requires the following qualifications:

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited physical therapy program.
• A valid physical therapist license in the state of Florida.
• Current CPR certification.
• Two years of outpatient orthopedic experience demonstrating your ability to assess, plan, and implement treatment effectively.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in a high-volume outpatient practice or those who have successfully implemented innovative therapy interventions are encouraged to apply. Compensation and Benefits
