The Holistic Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic orthopedic outpatient unit in Fort Myers Beach, Florida. Work Environment

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Holistic Wellness Center, you will work onsite in a home care setting, allowing you to bring your expertise directly to the patients' environments. Your schedule will be Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, allowing a balanced work-life routine. Our collaborative atmosphere encourages open communication, and you will engage closely with co-workers, physicians, patients, and their families to ensure all aspects of care are cohesive and focused on achieving optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients through a comprehensive assessment process that includes reviewing medical histories and conducting physical evaluations to determine personalized treatment plans.
• Implement and modify treatment protocols based on clinical findings and the evolving healthcare landscape, ensuring alignment with best practices.
• Document all patient interactions thoroughly, including detailed evaluation notes and treatment updates, to maintain accurate medical records and communicate effectively with other members of the healthcare team.
• Provide patient education regarding rehabilitation processes and preventative measures, empowering patients to take an active role in their recovery.
• Conduct timely discharge planning and recommend follow-up care to ensure continuity and effectiveness of treatment for patients transitioning back to daily life.
• Participate in clinical meetings to share insights and develop strategies that enhance patient care across the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on a diverse patient population, including those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain disorders, and other musculoskeletal issues. You will leverage your skills to create tailored treatment plans that address each patient's unique challenges and goals, with a strong emphasis on proactive and preventive care strategies. By fostering respectful and productive relationships with patients, you will play a crucial role in their rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensing and CPR certification required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and their families.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to the latest evidence-based practices in physical therapy.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in an orthopedic setting is preferred, demonstrating proficiency in evaluating and treating a wide range of orthopedic conditions.
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with documentation standards in therapy practices.

Compensation and Benefits
