Work Environment

Located in the beautiful community of Fort Myers Beach, Florida, our rehabilitation services are provided onsite in a home care setting. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians to determine their specific needs and develop tailored treatment strategies.
• Implement and monitor individualized therapy programs to facilitate recovery and promote physical mobility, ensuring evidence-based methodologies are utilized at all times.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to enhance patient outcomes and refine treatment approaches based on best practices.
• Deliver skilled therapeutic care using specialized orthopedic techniques suited to various conditions, always adhering to the physician's plan of care.
• Educate patients and their caregivers on treatment goals, therapeutic techniques, and methods to continue progress outside of therapy sessions.
• Meet and exceed minimum utilization goals while contributing positively to the overall efficiency of rehabilitation services delivered.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients encompass a wide range of demographics, with a primary focus on individuals requiring orthopedic rehabilitation, including post-operative care, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. As an integral part of the Clearwater Valley team, you will address the unique challenges faced by pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine patients, employing a holistic view of health and well-being throughout your practice.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an APTA or CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program.
• Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred.
• Active State License in Physical Therapy.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to facilitate patient relationships and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Preferred Experience

While a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred, candidates who demonstrate a strong passion for clinical practice and a commitment to patient care through extensive undergraduate experience will also be considered. Familiarity with home care practices or experience in a private practice setting is advantageous for potential candidates.

Compensation and Benefits

Clearwater Valley Rehabilitation Center offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, reflecting your skills and experiences.
