Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite, focusing on home care settings. Our physical therapists work directly with patients in their own homes, allowing for a high level of personalized care and hands-on therapy in a comfortable environment. Schedule is variable, requiring 40 hours per week with occasional weekend responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations of patients with functional limitations and orthopedic disabilities, employing evidence-based practices to develop customized treatment plans.
• Implement treatment modalities and techniques, continuously assessing patient progress and modifying therapy plans as necessary, in accordance with established guidelines.
• Educate patients and their families about specific orthopedic issues, treatment protocols, and self-management strategies to promote recovery and health literacy.
• Document all treatments, evaluations, and patient interactions meticulously, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards, while submitting charges for services provided.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, referring physicians, and specialists, ensuring coordinated and comprehensive care for each patient.
• Engage in community outreach, participate in quality improvement initiatives, and contribute to marketing efforts that uphold the clinic's reputation for excellence.
• Lead and mentor support staff, aiding in their professional development while supervising their clinical activities and performance.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse patient population including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, chronic pain disorders, sports injuries, and age-related musculoskeletal issues. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active state licensure in Physical Therapy.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

• Proficient in computer-based documentation and data management systems related to patient care.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
