Prince Georges Rehab Clinic LLC is seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Licensed Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team. Work Environment

This position requires an onsite presence in clients' homes, where each day may vary dramatically based on patient needs. You will collaborate closely with other professionals, such as physicians and nurse case managers, to ensure comprehensive care. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective treatment plans aimed at preventing disability, alleviating pain, and restoring function.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical capabilities through diagnostic tests, understanding their mobility limitations and rehabilitation needs.
• Provide manual therapeutic exercises, instruct clients in therapeutic routines, and assist with non-manual exercises.
• Apply modalities including traction and massage, as well as physical agents to facilitate rehabilitation.
• Evaluate patients' home environments to recommend modifications that will support their independence and improve their quality of life.
• Oversee and supervise physical therapy assistants, ensuring they adhere to the established plan of care.
• Regularly observe, document, and report patients' progress and any changes in their conditions, communicating with physicians and case managers to adjust care plans as needed.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to plan and evaluate total treatment approaches for clients.
• Ensure the timely submission of clinical documentation, including evaluations and care plans, to maintain compliance with organizational policies.
• Educate clients and their families on the use and care of therapy devices as well as their overall physical therapy program.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients span a diverse demographic, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, managing chronic pain, or regaining functionality post-injury. This role involves working closely with patients in their homes, allowing you to provide customized therapy that reflects each client's unique requirements and circumstances. Your expertise will be paramount in shaping their recovery journeys and enhancing their quality of life.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current PT licensure in good standing in the state of Florida.
• Current CPR certification and a valid driver's license.
• Passion for delivering quality patient care and a commitment to excellence and integrity.
• A creative thinker with excellent interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with clients and their families.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to provide leadership and mentorship to Physical Therapy Assistants.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of one year of experience as a Physical Therapist in either an acute or home care setting is required, candidates with advanced training in orthopedic rehabilitation or prior experience with home healthcare will be given preference. A Doctorate in Physical Therapy is also highly desirable for this role.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, dependent on experience and education.
