Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews, physical examinations, and functional status evaluations to formulate individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to restore function, alleviate pain, and prevent further injury, carefully monitoring patient progress throughout the treatment cycle.
• Educate patients and their families about orthopedic conditions, treatment goals, and home exercises to promote compliance and empower recovery.
• Collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure effective communication regarding treatment plans and adjustments.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in accordance with professional standards and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in community outreach programs to promote physical health and wellness, including educational workshops and preventive care screenings.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, leading efforts to enhance patient satisfaction and clinical outcomes within the department.
• Offer mentorship and guidance to support staff and students in their professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Orthopedic Physical Therapist will provide care to a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and those with chronic musculoskeletal issues. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.

• Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with electronic health record systems.
• Strong organizational skills with an emphasis on documentation accuracy and regulatory compliance.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience working in orthopedic physical therapy is preferred.
• Previous experience in home care or community-based therapy settings is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
