Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients, centered around their specific orthopedic needs and recovery goals.
• Direct the application of physical therapy techniques that may include manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and the use of physical agents to enhance rehabilitation outcomes.
• Evaluate and document patient progress, adapting care plans as needed to ensure their effectiveness over the course of treatment.
• Supervise and mentor physical therapy assistants in the delivery of care, making sure treatments align with established protocols and standards.
• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' functional abilities, as well as their home environments, to construct comprehensive treatment strategies.
• Assist in educating patients and their families about recovery practices, therapeutic exercises, and home care routines to promote independent living.
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings to discuss patient care plans and integrate input from other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure timely completion and submission of documentation, adhering to regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and conditions affecting the musculoskeletal system. We serve a diverse demographic, including active adults, seniors, and those engaged in rehabilitation following sports injuries. Your role will be pivotal in implementing targeted interventions that help clients regain strength, mobility, and confidence.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in physical therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• Current physical therapy licensure in the state of Florida, in good standing, is mandatory.
• A current CPR certification must be maintained throughout employment.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, patients, and their families.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, ranging from USD 100,000 to USD 120,000 per year, commensurate with education and experience.
