Accounts Payable & Payroll Specialist

Pleasant View, TN / Fully Onsite M-F Hourly Pay Range: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour Construction / Manufacturing About The Opportunity - Accounts Payable & Payroll Specialist Our client is seeking a detail-oriented AP / Payroll Administrator to join their team in a 100% onsite role. This temporary-to-hire opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys a variety of accounting and administrative responsibilities and can thrive in a hands-on environment. The position will support accounts payable, payroll processing, and general office administration while working closely with a small finance team. Key Responsibilities - Accounts Payable & Payroll Specialist Process accounts payable transactions, including invoice entry, coding, and job cost allocation. Manage approximately 15 AP transactions per day using accounting software. Assist with weekly payroll processing for approximately 47 employees. Support job costing activities and maintain accurate financial records. Handle general office administration duties, including certificates of insurance, payment bonds, office supplies, and phone support. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of accounting and administrative tasks. Qualifications - Accounts Payable & Payroll Specialist 3-5+ years of Accounts Payable experience required. Payroll experience strongly preferred; training available for the right candidate. Experience with QuickBooks is a significant plus. Job costing experience is highly desirable. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and practical problem-solving abilities.
