MRI Technologist - Day Shift

Job Description

The MRI Technologist will operate an MRI scanner, producing cross-sectional scans and combining them to create three-dimensional images for Radiologist interpretation. The technologist will ensure high-quality imaging consistently and maintain patient safety within MRI zones. The role requires effective and compassionate interaction with patients as well as documentation of patient care services in hospital records.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanner to produce high-quality imaging.
• Combine scans to form three-dimensional images for Radiologist review.
• Maintain safety for patients and staff within MRI zones.
• Document patient care services accurately in hospital records.
• Provide compassionate and effective interaction with patients.
• Support and promote the values and mission of the organization.
• Engage courteously with co-workers and peers.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Associate's Degree required.
• ARRT certified in Radiography.
• State of Maine Radiography license required.
• ARRT MRI certification preferred.

Schedule

This position operates on a Day Shift basis, with a guaranteed 36 hours per week.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
