Job Details Job Location: West Salt Lake City, UT 84101 Position Type: Full Time Salary Range: $22.00 - $25.00 Hourly Travel Percentage: None Job Shift: Any Job Description: Maintenance Technician The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the hotel’s buildings, equipment, and systems operate safely and efficiently. This role requires a hands-on, problem-solving individual with basic knowledge in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general maintenance. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and guest-service focused. Key Responsibilities Perform regular inspections and preventative maintenance on guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house areas, and hotel systems (e.g., HVAC, plumbing, lighting). Respond promptly to guest service requests and maintenance issues. Repair or replace fixtures, hardware, furniture, appliances, or equipment as needed. Maintain records of work performed and report major maintenance needs or safety hazards to supervisors. Ensure tools and supplies are properly stocked and secured. Assist with upkeep of exterior areas such as parking lots, walkways, landscaping, and pool (if applicable). Help set up or break down equipment for meetings, banquets, or events as needed. Monitor and maintain safety systems such as fire extinguishers, alarms, and emergency exits. Adhere to all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout protocols, and use PPE as required. Assist in energy and water conservation efforts by reporting leaks, inefficient lighting, etc. Work collaboratively with housekeeping, front desk, and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction. #J-18808-Ljbffr
