Maintenance Supervisor - 1st Shift

Trains and approves activities of workers engaged in repair, maintenance, installation of machines, tools, and equipment, and in the maintenance of buildings, grounds, and utility systems of industrial plant by performing the following duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reviews problem history with plant manager and shift lead to determine the optimum frequency for preventative maintenance. Observes equipment for unusual sounds and/or visual indications to detect malfunction and discusses machine operation variations with supervisors, operators, or other maintenance workers to diagnose problem or repair machine. Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts. Installs and repairs electrical apparatus, such as motors, starters, and wiring, as well as electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment.
