This role involves working in a mixed adult and pediatric care environment, providing high-quality care to patients with a range of conditions from STEMI and stroke to sepsis and high acuity cases. Key Responsibilities of the RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room/Emergency Department

• Provide emergency nursing care to adult and pediatric patients
• Handle common diagnoses such as STEMI, stroke, and sepsis
• Manage patient drips, including vasopressors, insulin, and sedation
• Maintain appropriate nurse-to-patient ratios and adapt during peak census times

Requirements of the RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room/Emergency Department

• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS certifications required
• 2+ years of combined adult and pediatric ER experience
• Experience with Epic documentation software
• Triage, assessment, and rapid decision-making skills
• TNCC preferred, though not mandatory
