Associate Litigation Attorney

About The Opportunity A growing litigation practice is seeking an Associate Litigation Attorney to handle personal injury cases from the filing of suit through resolution, including trial when necessary. The ideal candidate is an aggressive, organized, and results-oriented attorney who is comfortable taking ownership of a litigation docket and actively moving cases forward. This role is best suited for an attorney who takes initiative, develops cases strategically, communicates effectively with clients, and works toward achieving the best possible outcomes. Location Dallas, TX Job Type Full-Time Work Arrangement On-Site Key Responsibilities Handle personal injury cases from filing through resolution. Independently manage and maintain an active litigation docket. Develop case strategy and take proactive steps to move matters forward. Conduct discovery and prepare pleadings, motions, and other legal documents. Take and defend depositions. Attend hearings, mediations, and other court proceedings. Prepare cases for trial and participate in trials when necessary. Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, courts, witnesses, and other parties. Work closely with paralegals, legal assistants, investigators, experts, and other team members. Identify opportunities to maximize case value and achieve favorable outcomes. Meet deadlines and maintain strong organization across multiple matters. Qualifications Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. Active Texas Bar license and membership in good standing with the State Bar of Texas. Strong written and oral advocacy skills. Ability to independently manage deadlines and a litigation caseload. Strong organizational and case-management skills. Excellent professional judgment and communication skills. Comfortable communicating with clients, opposing counsel, courts, witnesses, and staff. Willingness to take depositions, attend hearings and mediations, and participate in trials. Strong interest in personal injury litigation.
