Associate Civil Litigation Attorney

Overview A law firm seeks an Associate Civil Litigation Attorney in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will have 3-7 years of experience in civil cases and a strong desire to grow within the firm. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile cases and advance your career. Responsibilities Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs. Assist in the preparation and management of cases from inception through trial. Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and mediations. Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff to develop case strategies. Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates and managing expectations. Perform other duties as assigned to support the litigation team. Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Admission to the state bar and in good standing. 5-7 years of litigation experience in civil cases. Strong research, analytical, and writing skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Skills Experience with legal research tools, such as Westlaw or LexisNexis. Trial experience or significant exposure to courtroom proceedings.
