VP Financial Advisor

Position Summary Vice President, Financial Advisor – Northern California – Wealth Enhancement Group. Key role: manage client relationships, facilitate financial planning, close prospects, mentor team members, and contribute to client service and sales growth. Compensation Base salary plus variable compensation, total range $164,000 to $250,000 annually. Primary Job Functions Manage existing client relationships and deliver WEG’s planning‑based standard of service. Facilitate the financial planning process. Discover client values, goals, and objectives; understand current financial situation. Engage clients in the planning process. Prepare and conduct annual reviews covering planning and investment topics. Provide ongoing client support and communication. Source and close prospects proactively; follow up with clients who have not implemented plans. Close leads from marketing, CRP, and other WEG channels. Create opportunities within own network and drive referrals from existing clients. Mentor and train team members on technical areas of financial planning and client service. Educate on the Wealth Enhancement Group planning process and overall financial planning matters. Participate in WEG trainings, educational events, coaching programs, and remain proficient in advisor/client technology. Adhere to Corporate Communication Strategy and maintain compliance standards. Education & Qualifications 4‑year degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field. Advanced designation (CFP, CPA, MBA, etc.) required. Series 7, 66 (B/D/RIA) and Series 65 (RIA Only) licensing. Insurance licenses as required. Substantial experience in wealth management; ability to source and convert prospects to clients with high‑level planning service. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills (oral & written). Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
