The role is located in a trauma center. The facility has 198 beds and provides healthcare to a diverse patient population. It includes medical, surgical, and rehabilitation services. The hospital features state-of-the-art operating suites. Various trauma cases are flown to the facility. Services include a childbirth center, cancer center, nephrology unit, pediatric unit, and behavioral health unit. There is a day surgery center, as well as extensive imaging and lab testing services. This facility has received various awards and accreditation. The location offers a unique and adventurous community atmosphere. There are many outdoor activities and attractions available. The Emergency Department has a total of 48 beds with flexible space. Patient ratios are maintained at 4:1 in the main department and 6:1 in fast track. The department uses advanced medical equipment, including a Zoll defibrillator and an ultrasound-guided IV system. The EHR system used is Cerner. The unit has a collaborative team nursing approach. Social workers and an educator are assigned to the department. The patient population includes those with ESRD, cirrhosis, COPD, and psychiatric conditions. Common diagnoses and treatments include substance abuse disorders, psychological disorders, chest pain, and abdominal pain. Two weekends of availability are required in the schedule. No float requirements are present for this position.
