Key Responsibilities
- Food Preparation: Grill, fry, and assemble a variety of foods that require quick cooking times, such as breakfast items, fries, and meats.
- Multitasking: Manage multiple orders simultaneously, timing different items so they finish and can be served together.
- Quality Control: Ensure every dish is hot, attractive, and meets strict food safety and temperature requirements.
- Station Maintenance: Clean and sanitize work areas, grills, fryers, and utensils to uphold health codes.
- Inventory: Stock necessary ingredients and supplies, and occasionally assist with ordering.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
- Speed and Efficiency: Ability to work quickly under pressure without sacrificing accuracy.
- Time Management: Strong coordination skills to juggle competing tickets during a busy rush.
- Physical Stamina: Capacity to stand for long periods, lift heavy supplies, and work in hot or humid environments.
- Customer Service: Occasional direct interaction with patrons to take orders, handle payments, or serve food at counters.
- Training: No formal education is typically required, as most skills are learned through on-the-job training
