Event 360 is the most experienced team of peer-to-peer fundraising event experts in the nation. We plan, promote, and run events that exceed goals — and we do it because we genuinely care about the clients and causes we support. 

As part of a fundraising coaching program for one of our clients, Event 360 will provide personalized, direct coaching support to a select group of peer-to-peer fundraising event participants across multiple markets. We’re looking for a passionate, people-first Fundraising Coach to help bring this program to life.  

Role Summary 

The Fundraising Coach is a key part of a small, dedicated coaching team supporting a select group of our client’s P2P event participants. You’ll work alongside a small group of fellow coaches, collectively supporting up to 5,000 participants across multiple markets, guiding them through their peer-to-peer fundraising journey. With a primary goal of activating them to fundraise, you’ll do this through a series of communications touchpoints (inbound and outbound email, text and phone) providing encouragement, practical advice, and genuine connection.  

This is a collaborative role where you’ll share ownership of the participant experience with the Fundraising & Development team. Strong communicators with great people skills who thrive in a team environment and can also work independently will fit right in. 

This is a temporary, part-time nonexempt, fully remote role that runs through November 13. You’ll report to and work directly with Event 360’s Fundraising & Development Strategist and the rest of the team to execute an intentional coaching strategy through two-way texting, inbound and outbound phone and email communications, and group virtual coaching calls.  

What You’ll Do 

Ongoing Participant Coaching Support 

• Manage inbound participant communications via a shared email inbox, responding to fundraising questions, sharing encouragement, and providing actionable next steps to activate fundraisers. 

• Conduct two-way texting outreach with participants to offer timely, personalized fundraising coaching and support. 

• Proactively reach out to participants via phone and email at key milestones to help them meet and exceed their fundraising goals. 

• Take a strategic approach to managing your workload and scheduling your participant touchpoints  

Group Coaching Calls 

• Facilitate virtual group coaching sessions for participants to share fundraising tips, answer questions, and build community. 

• Prepare talking points and resources for each call, tapping into your own knowledge and experience with peer-to-peer fundraising. 

Collaboration & Reporting  

• Partner closely with the Event 360 Fundraising & Development team to stay aligned on pilot strategy, participant segment updates, and communications schedules. 

• Participate in weekly internal project update calls to share observations, flag challenges, and contribute ideas for improving participant performance. 

• Maintain accurate records of participant interactions. 

Qualifications 

• A genuine passion for people and the ability to motivate others toward their goals 

• Experience in peer-to-peer fundraising, fundraising coaching, or participant engagement 

• Strong communications skills: you write clearly, pay strong attention to detail, and communicate in a friendly, inspiring manner 

• Comfort with high-volume, relationship-based outreach via text, email, and phone 

• Experience facilitating virtual group meetings or coaching calls that inspire action and motivate people to reach and exceed individual fundraising goals 

• A self-starter mindset and the ability to see a gap and fill it without waiting to be told what to do  

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Outlook and Excel) and comfort with CRM or participant management platforms 

• Previous participation in a peer-to-peer fundraising event is a plus, but not required

Work Environment

• Work conditions are normal for an office environment but will depend on employees’ home-office setting 

• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but will depend on employees’ home-office setting 

• A computer will be provided to do this work 

• Normal weekly workload will fluctuate between 10 – 29 hours and may include evening and/or weekend hours
