Home Care Scheduling Coordinator

Right at Home – East Memphis is seeking a highly organized, energetic, and customer-focused Home Care Scheduling Coordinator to join our growing team. This position plays a vital role in ensuring our clients receive exceptional care by coordinating caregiver schedules, maintaining strong communication with staff and clients, and supporting daily office operations.

Schedule

Monday – Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Participation in an evening and weekend on-call rotation is required.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of scheduling experience in Home Health or Home Care

Experience working with EVV or home care scheduling systems (preferred)

Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills

Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure

Essential Responsibilities

Answer incoming calls and provide exceptional customer service.

Coordinate caregiver schedules to ensure adequate staffing and continuity of care.

Monitor and maintain EVV compliance, including reviewing visit records, resolving exceptions, and ensuring accurate documentation.

Verify caregiver time records and process payroll-related corrections.

Respond to call-offs, fill open shifts, and communicate schedule changes promptly.

Maintain accurate client and caregiver records.

Assist with new hire orientation, training, and employee documentation.

Communicate regularly with clients, caregivers, and office staff to ensure quality service.

Participate in the evening and weekend on-call rotation.

Perform other administrative duties as assigned.

Preferred Skills

Home care or home health scheduling experience

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong attention to detail

Ability to prioritize multiple urgent tasks

Comfortable making independent decisions in a fast-paced environment

Positive attitude with exceptional people skills

Knowledge of Medicaid and home care regulations is a plus
