Job Title: Toddler Teacher
Location: The Learning Experience Tega Cay
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday 830-530
Pay Range: $16–$18 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)

Position Overview:
The Learning Experience Tega Cay is seeking a caring, dependable, and energetic Toddler Teacher to join our team. This role works with children ages 12 months to 24 months , providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can grow, explore, and reach developmental milestones. The ideal candidate is patient, attentive, and passionate about early childhood care and education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide attentive and nurturing care for infants and toddlers in a safe classroom environment.
  
  
• Support children’s early developmental milestones through age-appropriate activities and interactions.
  
  
• Encourage sensory exploration, language development, and early social skills through play and guided activities.
  
  
• Maintain accurate daily reports including feedings, diaper changes, naps, and classroom activities.
  
  
• Ensure proper sanitation, including bottle preparation, diapering procedures, and classroom cleaning.
  
  
• Maintain constant supervision to ensure the safety and well-being of all children.
  
  
• Communicate professionally with families regarding their child’s daily care and development.
  
  
• Follow all South Carolina DSS childcare licensing regulations and center policies.
  
  
• Work collaboratively with other teachers and management to maintain classroom ratios and support coverage as needed.
  
  
• Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and professional development.
  
  

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
  
  
• Previous experience working with infants, toddlers, or in a childcare setting preferred.
  
  
• Ability to meet South Carolina DSS childcare licensing requirements .
  
  
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
  
  
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  
  
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and actively engage with young children throughout the day.
